Porthpean Outdoor is Cornwall’s leading residential outdoor activity centre. Set overlooking the stunning Cornish south coast, with our own beach, on-site accommodation, full catering, and around the clock staffing, our Ofsted-registered centre has led the way in school camps and outdoor adventure in Cornwall for 80 years!

Specialising in fun-filled residential packages and day programmes for schools and youth groups, we aim to challenge and delight our adventurers with a variety of instructor-led outdoor activities, inspiring class bonding, peer friendship, and individual confidence.

And with our child centric set-up, we extend our offering to children during the summer holiday break with our US-style summer camp experience, Camp Cornwall.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Really great location, excellent staff. They were so friendly and helpful, the food was good and the tents were spacious. Activities were standard for PGL, but had an excellent day of watersports on the sea. It was very hot when I went, so the walks to the beach, bushcraft area and town were quite hard, but instructors took great care of us. Showers could have been a bit nicer and water supply wasn't fantastic but they were decent for a campsite. General atmosphere was amazing-I loved the silent disco.

The children were really encouraged to try new things and the staff were brilliant with supporting them to be resilient. Between the staff we have over 50 years of residential experience. This was by far THE BEST residential we have all been on. This includes, the cleanliness of the centre, the food, and approach of the staff. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and they have gone out their way to cater for every child, even the really fussy ones!
