Survival Skills

Be a Wilderness Warrior

Our highly skilled and experienced instructors will teach all the basics of survival, with fire making, cooking on fires, knife skills, shelter building, all in a way that’s practical and super-fun.

They’ll help your group to absorb the essential skills for successful wild camping in any environment. Promoting qualities like teamwork, communication, problem-solving, awareness of environment, and responsibility.

They will do all this while ensuring that your group are having the time of their lives.

We provide an opportunity for young people to connect to the natural world and its significance to our own health, well-being, and learning. We aim to develop an appreciation for nature and our local habitat and ecosystems, encouraging a better understanding and respect for the natural world around us while learning new skills.

By taking time away from typical day-to-day distractions like phones and screens, your group can get an opportunity to breathe in the fresh air rich, to get a bit messy, and learn new bushcraft and camp craft skills that have been passed down through history.

What you may see

Spend time watching one of nature’s most captivating sights, relax as you see your group's fire grow before using it to make yourself a hot drink or maybe some campfire bread.

Expect to get back to basics, and down and dirty! Embrace that smell of wood smoke, and enjoy surrounding your group in our beautiful nature.

Fun Facts

The first evidence of humans' control of fire is thought to be 1.7 to 2 million years ago!
