Paddleboarding at Porthpean

Get ready to have some fun exploring St Austell Bay on our stand-up paddleboard (commonly abbreviated to SUP). Find your balance on our inflatable single SUPs and venture out with a group of your friends.

Our knowledgeable instructors guide you on what to do and where to go to get the most out of your time. We highly recommend being out on the water for a sunset experience in St Austell Bay… it’s breath-taking if we do say so ourselves!

It’s safe to say that paddleboarding is one of the fastest growing water sports in the world right now, we have a fantastic range of high-quality boards from a local company. Join our qualified and experienced team of instructors on a session to get the balance of this brilliant Paddlesport.

Porthpean is the perfect venue for your paddleboarding session due to its unique shelter and safe beach area. Wetsuits, buoyancy aids, and all paddling equipment is included to keep you safe, comfortable, and confident on the water. Our instructors will give a paddle talk, safety briefing, and demonstrations before launching your group from the beach.

Sessions can be tailored to suit the aims of your group. Use your paddleboard as a platform to play games, jump, and splash your way along our stretch of idyllic Cornish coastline, or enjoy a session learning and improving paddleboarding skills.

Our instructors carry all safety equipment needed and use tow lines to provide additional paddle power if needed.
