Camp Cornwall is a summer camp for 8 to 14-year-olds running for seven consecutive weeks through July and August as UK schools break for the summer. Children can stay on a 5 or 7 night basis.

The Camp Cornwall package includes ALL activities, meals, excursions, and accommodation. You may wish to pack a small amount of pocket money for treats for the week, but otherwise, everything will be taken care of during your child’s stay.

Our timetables provide amazing opportunities for all guests to experience the best in outdoor adventure with the best in instruction and customer care.  As a dedicated activity centre, operating all year round for young people, we are able to offer unrivalled standards in safety, activity instruction, and service.  Our dedicated team work at the centre helping schools groups in term term, not just for a few weeks over the summer, thus ensuring superior levels of staffing and training throughout Camp Cornwall.  We are immensely proud of our fantastic team!

Each group at Camp Cornwall is allocated a Camp Rep for their stay.  This individual is the go-to for any questions or concerns our guests may have; big or small, our Camp Rep is there to listen and sort!  Details of how we group our Camp Cornwall guests is available on our accommodation page.

Travel-wise, we have considered work commitments of parents in our programmes, with arrival days set as Saturday (7-night package) and Sunday (5-night package).  We are happy to recommend overnight accommodation nearby for any parents that wish to enjoy a night or two in Cornwall themselves after drop-off/before pick-up.

Our chaperone service offers a fun and safe alternative solution to transport to and from camp.  The chaperone service sees a member of our Camps Reps team meeting your child at London Paddington train station (or stops thereafter) to accompany them safely to and from the centre on arrival and departure days.  The price of our chaperone service includes a return train ticket and reserved seats with our Camp Rep and the Camp Cornwall group.

We know that one size certainly does not fit all, so we operate our centre with children in mind at every turn, working to ensure everyone feels trusted, valued, and uniquely special.

With measurable improvements in trust, confidence, and resilience being gained from a summer camp, every element of the experience at Camp Cornwall has been designed to ensure every child leaves us with a smile on their face and stories aplenty to share at home.

It is widely recognised that outdoor learning has multiple benefits. It develops self-esteem, supports mental health and wellbeing, promotes inclusive learning, and enhances peer to peer relationships. With specific reference to our adventurous activities, at Camp Cornwall we see risk and reward as central to what we offer. We encourage children at every step as they venture outside of their comfort zone. At all times, supporting and recognising natural ability and considering safety.
