Every activity at Porthpean Outdoor Education Centre has been designed, built, and developed with children front and centre.

As a dedicated youth camp and residential centre dating back to the 1940s, the team at Porthpean Outdoor Education Centre are committed to maintaining the original core outdoor pursuits of the centre.  Climbing, kayaking, field games, and archery, all form part of our 2024 timetables, ensuring the legacy continues.

But we are also passionate about evolving and ensuring fun is central to the experience gained by visiting children. Joining the timetable now are coasteering, artificial caving, Mega SUPs, axe throwing, and laser tag.

Our activity timetables aim to combine the perfect balance of water and land-based activities, giving every consideration to the age and abilities of your group.  Our experienced instructors can tailor the scheduled activity to ensure your group get the most from every single experience.
