At Porthpean Outdoor Education Centre, we are committed to the provision of fantastic value school residentials, providing everything you need for THE best school camp experience in Cornwall.

In addition to onsite accommodation, all school camps include a full meal programme.  Our timetables have been carefully structured to offer a mix of water, beach, and land-based activities, with space reserved for downtime and rest breaks.  Evenings at Porthpean Outdoor Education Centre will endeavour to provide your busy teachers with some much-needed time to relax and enjoy their stay as much as your children.  Our timetable offers instructor-led activities all day until lights out.

A residential at Porthpean Outdoor Education Centre is crowned by an awards ceremony on your last night of school camp. Being sensitive to inclusivity, we honour not so much ‘the best’, but the more quirky achievements, and where adventurers have pushed themselves to get the very best out of themselves and their time on camp!

We offer the option of a 2-night and a 4-night residential as standard. Our 2-night programme runs from Monday to Wednesday OR Wednesday to Friday and our 4-night programme runs from Monday to Friday.  We are unable to offer alternative length stays from May to July.

When booking a school residential at Porthpean Outdoor Education Centre in Cornwall, one free staff place is provided per 10 child places.  Should your group need additional support over the 1:10 free place ratio, we offer a discounted rate for staff members.  Terms and conditions apply.
